1. Damini (1993): The theme revolves around the character Damini who represents truth and innocence. After her marriage in renowned wealthy family, Damini happens to see a cruel act done by her brother-in-law. She wants the victim to get justice, but the family including her husband oppose her, which leads her to leave the house. Soon she is helped by a drunkard, an ex-advocate, who helps her in all respect to reach to her aim and therefore justice. Watch it for a stunning performance by Sunny Deol as a drunkard, moody and angry lawyer.
2. Ek Ruka Hua Faisla (1989): Twelve male members of a jury gather together in an enclosed room to deliberate their decision on a charge of murder against a young man who has been accused of killing his elderly father. All of the jury, save for one, are convinced of this young man's guilt, and they would like to convince their colleague also to come to the same unanimous decision. But will they be able to convince him to change his verdict?
3. Kanoon (1960): A young lawyer accidentally witnesses his prospective father-in-law, a respected judge, murdering a moneylender. A burglar who stumbles across the body is then arrested for the murder and is put on trial before the judge's court, leaving the lawyer with a moral dilemma. Thus giving rise to more burden on the story and a series of events to unfold the future.
4. Baat Ek Raat Ki (1962): Seema is in police custody for committing a murder. Believing that she did it, she confesses. When renowned lawyer, Rajeshwar decides to represent her, he accepts her guilt, but as he goes deep into the details of her story and the circumstances, he is not sure any more. What could have placed Seema at the scene of this heinous crime?
5. Meri Jung (1985): Thakral, a top-level but cruel lawyer who proves the innocent Deepak Verma guilty. As Thakral wished, Deepak Verma is sentenced to death on a false charge of murder. The repercussions are disastrous. Deepak's wife Aarti goes into a trauma and is consigned to a mental asylum. But to avenge the injustice done to his parents, Arun works hard to become an advocate. Thakral's son, Vicky , is no less as he deliberately traps Arun's sister Komal by making her fall in love with him. He is a murderer who kills his former girlfriend in order to elope with Komal. But the alert Arun has him sentenced to death for the murder he committed. Towards the end, Aarti gets back to normalcy and the family that had been scattered, reunites. But, Thakral become a mental wreck and spends the rest of his life in an asylum.
